Delusion or Vivid Imagination

I heard that people in relationships talk on the phone until they fall asleep, it must be nice! For single pringles like myself, we make use of delusion or what they call vivid imagination. This vivid imagination of mine usually begins with some rich dude checking out my blog and noticing my passion for automobiles as well as how much work I have put into my blog over the past year. So, rich dude hits me up, offering me an all expense paid trip to wherever I want in the World. I bet you guys would expect me to pick the Bahamas, Maldives or one of those vacation spots but you would be dead wrong, because the one place I want to visit is Japan.

Why Japan?

1. THE VIEW

Japan's Mountain Fuji View from an Airplane

All routes flying from the West to Haneda Airport in Tokyo, fly around the south side of Mount Fuji and allow passengers to see the mountain from the left side of the plane. Seeing Mt. Fuji, complete with its snow-capped peak from above, is truly something to behold and I want to experience this beautiful sight with my very own eyes. Mount Fuji is literarily the first of more beautiful sites in Japan but this is not a travel blog, so I will leave you to check out other sights for yourself.

2. JAPAN IS THE HOME OF AUTOMOTIVE EXCELLENCE

It is common knowledge that the best cars come out of Japan. Japanese cars dominated motorsports in the 1990's and in modern day when everyone is concerned about comfort and aesthetics, Japanese manufacturers like Lexus and Acura are killing it. Due to safety regulations and other factors, not all cars produced by Japanese manufacturers are available for sale outside Japan. This means that I can only enjoy the pleasure of seeing some beautiful cars like the Mitsubishi Evo Wagon or the Toyota Century in Japan.

3. VISITING ALL MY FAVOURITE TUNERS

If the best cars are produced in Japan, it adds up saying that the best car tuners are also based in Japan. I wrote about my favorite car tuners a while back and 3 out 4 are based in Japan. They include Liberty Walk, Mine's - Built By Legends and RWB (RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF). These are tuners that transform good Japanese cars into perfect machines. I would visit every single one of them, learning as much as I can and experiencing their builds first hand.

4. LEARN HOW TO DRIFT FROM THE DRIFT KING

For those who do not know, Keiichi Tsuchiya is considered the King of Drift. Tsuchiya is a Japanese professional race car driver. He is known as the Drift King for his role in popularizing drifting as a motorsport. Short story about Mr. Tsuchiya is that he was so good at racing that he got tired of winning and decided to have fun by drifting around circuits during actual race and crazy thing is he still won. The Anime series Initial D is loosely based on Tsuchiya's rise to greatness as the Drift King in Japan, as he used to drift in the mountains with his Toyota AE86. Imagine learning how to drift from the originator of the sport.

5. EXPERINCE JAPANS NIGHTLIFE AND CAR MEETS

Japan's car scene seems like something from the Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift movie, but crazier. Almost everyone in Japan is a gear head, so you can only imagine the outcome. There are car meets like every night and these people showcase car culture in the most beautiful way possible. I would be the happiest TurboNerd in Japan!

High on Gasoline

This is the point where I wake up from my slumber or realize I am in Dr. Eno Edwards class, either way that was good use of my vivid imagination. Please aggressively repost this blogpost, because the rich dude to sponsor my trip to Japan might just be on your timeline.

Japan has it all!

Thank you for joining me on my delusional journey in this weeks blogpost. I will catch you next week but remember to always Turbo that engine!
